I do like it a lot , have some questions.

I love the product. Not using it exclusively for now as sometimes feels too “ greasy” on my face but really do enjoy it. I was wondering if the VitA in it can dry out lips ? As I feel lips quite dry.

Excellent product, I use it under my arms instead of deodorant and under my feet to sleep well at night. Since it is also moisturizing I don’t get the stinging sensation like normal magnesium sprays tend to do.

Soft and luxurious

Sun balm wow

I have always struggled with sunscreen as my skin breaks out after every use. I have tried so many types that have been recommended for sensitive skin and then moved onto non-comedogenic SPF that is recommended for skin prone to breakouts and I still encounter issues. I recently tried this sun balm as I was already using the tallow balm which I found amazing. This sun balm is the first sun protection I have ever used that caused me absolutely no reactions or breakouts!! I was in and out the water all day and no sign of any sun burn. This is groundbreaking for me and so overdue! This is now the only sun protection I will use and it goes everywhere with me. Thank you Fierce Nature for a truly amazing product.

Will my Luxe Face Balm smell?

The tallow we use is from our sister brand, Ossa and is from pasture raised organic cattle in Bedfordshire. It is 100% natural and isn’t bleached or deodorised but has a clean creamy smell. As with any natural product there are so many factors that affect each batch of balm we make - meaning, although we follow specific recipes and methods every time and strive for consistency, the natural nature of the product will always shift. This can depend on the time of year, the grass the cattle have been grazing, the temperature when it was made, the temperature it is stored at etc. Our tallow has a low odour however it is beef fat so do expect a slight creamy scent. If you are concerned about the smell, our sweet orange, vanilla and luxe range adds a beautiful scent. If you have purchased an unscented balm and the smell is really not for you (people have differing sensitives to smell) then you can safely add a few drops of your favourite skin friendly essential oil (patch test).

Why is my Luxe Face Balm a darker golden colour than normal?

In the winter months, the organic rose hip oil that we purchase is always darker red in colour, it’s a seasonal variation and will usually be lighter again come spring. There is no colour transference onto your skin and it’s the same luxurious oil with the same beautiful properties. It can sometimes make the balm feel slightly grainier in the colder months – this is just the fat particles setting at different temperatures. Just warm the balm between your fingers and the little fatty beads will soon melt in.

Are our beef fat products from a safe source?

The tallow we use is from our sister brand, Ossa and is from pasture raised organic cattle in Bedfordshire. It is 100% natural and isn’t bleached or deodorised. This is fat for the food chain so is of the highest quality and is the ONLY fat we use in our products. Our organic farm in Bedfordshire is certified organic and has to ensure they are tested by the Soil Association to retain official organic status. All meat & tallow produced by the farm has a Safety data sheet to provide information about the traceability of the animals and that they are fit for the food chain. Each batch of product we make is linked to the batch of fat it was made from so there is 100% traceability on all our products.

How should I store my Luxe Face Balm?

Store your Luxe Face Balm in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the lid is tightly closed to maintain the product’s effectiveness and longevity.

The texture of my tallow balm is a little different from my last order. Why is this?

Very occasionally there may be some texture variation in our balms - even within the same batch! This is understandable as we refuse to put anything synthetic in our products. As with any natural product there are so many factors that affect each batch of balm we make - meaning, although we follow specific recipes and strive for consistency, the natural nature of the product will always shift. This can depend on the time of year, the grass the cattle have been grazing, the temperature when it was made, the temperature your balm is stored at etc. It can even happen half way through an unfinished tin in your bathroom! Tallow is a little like a jar of raw honey – depending on where it’s stored or what the weather is doing it can form small fat crystals making it feel more grainy. It doesn’t happen very often and there seems to be no particular reason for it. It mainly occurs when the balm has been through significant temperature change. This is perfectly natural and these little grains will melt into your skin and that beef fat is still doing it nourishing job. To get it back to a smoother consistency you can always carefully re-melt and pour back into the tin.
