Pure Organic Tallow Sun Balm

We use non-nano zinc as the basis for our sun protection, a mineral that works as a barrier against the sun's rays.

As a mineral cream, our Sun Balm forms a barrier on the skin (through non-nano zinc oxide) and therefore shields the skin, protecting while smoothly gliding into your skin. This is unlike the chemicals used in mainstream sun lotions, which work through a chemical reaction that absorbs the sun's rays when they hit your skin.

Non-nano zinc is reef-safe, meaning that the zinc oxide particles are larger than 100 nanometers, too large to be ingested by or harm marine organisms, such as coral.

Apply on the face and body or lips 20 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours or after swimming. Please note that a white cast on the skin is normal and indicates that the barrier is sitting on the skin for optimal sun protection. 

Store in a cool dry place and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue if irritation or rash appears. Use on children under 6 months of age only with the advice of a physician.

Our balms are tallow-based, which are naturally derived from beef fat. A characteristic scent may be present, which is a normal attribute of high-quality, unrefined animal-based ingredients; however, this does not affect the quality of the product.
